Series of Activities Launched to Commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Long March Victory

The university plans to organize a series of activities in memory of the 70th anniversary of the Red Army’s Long March victory. This year is the 70th anniversary of Long March. The university hopes to honor the immortal achievements of the revolutionary forerunners and carry forward the glorious revolutionary traditions through the activities.
Today the series of activities start and will conclude by the end of December. They are consisting of five components such as “to review the classic works and to study the Long March spirit”, “to hold the photo exhibition of Beijing Jiao Tong University in memory of the Long March victory”, “to have a colloquium about carrying forward the Long March spirit” , “ to organize activities for the Communist Party branches and the Youth League branches to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Long March victory” , “ to hold a propaganda report for the series of memorial activities” . Through the activities of reviewing the history of Long March and studying the spirit of Red Army, the university aims to make use of various activities sufficiently, motivate all the staff and students widely and promote the university’s development perpetually. |
