Jiaotong University has successfully established
cooperative relations with over 50 universities from USA, UK,
Germany, France, Belgium, Australia, Japan, Sweden, Russia, Spain, Canada, the
Netherlands, and Korea, etc.In recent years, BJTU invited more than 1,000 overseas scholars and experts from over 20 countries and regions to speak or to teach on campus. About 100 renowned scholars took posts as honorary or advisory professors of BJTU. Each year BJTU also sends more than 300 scholars and students overseas for joint research, teaching or further studies. |
Building partnership Since 1978, when the Chinese
government implemented the open-up policy, Beijing Jiaotong
University has been paying great attention to developing
international cooperation and exchanges.Through visits, exchanges and joint research and education, BJTU rapidly expands her overseas connections. International involvement not only helps the university get to know the state of the art of the outside world, but further promotes her own development and growth.
